Optometrist
I was born in Galway, Ireland and moved to the United States with my parents and sister at the age of 5. So, you could say it isn't too ironic that these smiling Irish eyes were called to a career in Optometry. I graduated from St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA with a degree in chemistry and biology and then went on to attend the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia. After graduation, I came back to Southwestern Pennsylvania and opened O'Rourke Vision Care in 2003. I hope during your visit you can see that after 20 years, I am still truly as passionate about practicing Optometry as much as the day I graduated in 2002. When I am not at the office, you can find me doing what I love best, watching one of my two children at one of their many activities. I also enjoy attending Pittsburgh sporting events, reading, and relaxing times with friends and family at our home in Jefferson Hills.

I dedicate this practice in loving memory to my late husband, Dr. James F. Huber, Optometrist. It was his vision, encouragement, and confidence in me that turned this practice from a dream to a reality. Jim was not only adored as a loving and devoted husband, father, and friend, he was an extraordinary optometrist as well. Jim was diagnosed with Colorectal cancer in 2016 at the young age of 45, and sadly passed away in 2019. It is our family's mission to spread awareness about the importance of screening colonoscopies at age 45 and to know the signs and symptoms of this very treatable cancer when diagnosed early. Jim's everlasting imprint is our guiding light both personally and professionally, and he is missed dearly. Although our time was cut short, we were blessed to have been loved by him and will forever be #HuberStrong 💙
